A survey performed by Cohen Children`s Medical Centre in New
York told that there are estimated injuries of teenagers are 300,000 and the
death rate is 3,000 , just because of texting while driving.
And as a comparison 282,000 are injured and 2,700 is the
death rate as a result of drunk driving. The investigation team of the Cohen
Children`s medical Centre has investigated from September 2010 to December 2011,
that 49% of Boys and 45% of Girls admitted texting during driving in the age
class of 15-18 years.
This told us that the teens do not drink all seven days but
they carry their Smart-Phones with them and texts a lot while driving.
As a result of this research UK government has started
fining drivers on the usage of Smart-Phones while driving to control increasing
this death and injury rate. The transport minister of UK has declares that
these fining will increase 50 percent as £60 to £90 and the driver will be
responsible for having three stars on his license.
Many experts believes using Smart-Phone during drive is more
dangerous than drunk driving because the urge of checking Smart-Phone can occur
at anytime but driving after drinking at any party is very often.
