Microsoft`s Pranish Kumar, Group Program Manager Windows Embedded Automotive team, in a Microsoft Press publication said, “the automotive industry faces a lot of unique challenges, perhaps first of which is that cars must be supportable for much longer than consumer electronic devices for 10 or 20 years, in most cases”, further he said, “I think we have developed a solid understanding of some of these challenges and how technology can address them, while providing drivers with better experience”.

To command the car technologies like navigation and entertainment system the carmakers stat concentrating, as Microsoft wants to increase the Driver`s skills more than before.
Windows Embedded-Based system is a good example mentioned by the company, that could convey data about unsuccessful combination of a phone to Microsoft and within the night the explanation could be recognized and transferred to the connected car of that phone. And in the next the owner will get an automatically paired phone, when he gets in to the car.
The same data could be used to do tasks by the owner of the car according to the situation, for example, tuning to the favorite radio station or rearrangement of the meeting because of the traffic interruption, conferring to the software company.
“We`ve come a long way in terms of creating a product that works reliably and meets the quality standards of the automotive industry. And we`re continuing our work with carmakers to reach the full potential on In-Car technology,” said Pranish Kumar. “Though a combination of software and hardware and also user-centric design, we believe that car owners will experience driving like never before possible.”
