Pietersen says decision to pull out of PSL final nothing to do with Imran Khan

LONDON: English Cricketer Kevin Pietersen has rejected media reports that he refused to play final of the Pakistan Super League in Lahore after Imran Khan’s statement in which PTI chief had opposed PSL final in Lahore due to security reasons.

The Quetta Gladiators batsman said in a video message he was told that it was not a good idea to travel to Pakistan. “It was a family decision and has absolutely nothing to do with what Imran Khan said." He said he took his decision before the tournament due to security concerns.
